It would not let the pigeon escape. The pigeon was hit by a car behind me. I saw in my rearview mirror the crow waiting for the a break in the traffic to go down and I presume eat the pigeon. I did not see it eating the pigeon but I saw it kill the pigeon and wait for a break-in the traffic.<br />This happened about 3pm on a Friday earlier this year.Barryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08695583327259586571noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7832098110509863943.post-72074421566532361282016-09-12T23:29:47.492+01:002016-09-12T23:29:47.492+01:00I was driving on San Pablo Avenue in Berkeley, Cal...I was driving on San Pablo Avenue in Berkeley, California and a crow forced a pigeon down into the traffic ahead of me. A group of three or four carrion crows were forcing a pigeon to land at a pavement. The crows drove their prey towards the road and prevented an escape. After a while, a car run the pigeon over.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7832098110509863943.post-47643941407939294252011-03-07T11:39:02.950+00:002011-03-07T11:39:02.950+00:00I haven't seen this happening again since this...I haven't seen this happening again since this post, but I will keep my eyes open...davesbrainhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12333444438002021007noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7832098110509863943.post-57862412717475312632011-03-05T07:38:17.463+00:002011-03-05T07:38:17.463+00:00Fascinating theory.

Mine is aark - aark, which looks like the transcript of a crow call. ??Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
